Well the praising the police for their professional handling of situations didn't last very long did it?
News in today that parents parking to drop off disabled children at a special school were targeted for tickets and told to 'move'.Story here. The parents apparently were singled out from taxi firms and council buses (who were given warnings) for dropping the kids off in an area with no restrictions (yellow lines etc) on the grounds they were causing an obstruction... and the police turned up in...A RIOT VAN, nine officers, where exactly did they park?
The world has gone mad, how long does it take to drop off a bunch of kids for school, 20 mins? 1/2 hour?, who exactly complained to have this level of response directed at the problem?
Barking Spider gives his take on it and I have to agree with him, it was disproportionate and intimidatory.
It is time the police thought seriously about who actually employs them and started behaving with a little common decency to the British public going peacefully about their daily lives.

Hopefully a lot of coppers will be losing their jobs soon,it was a desporate attempt in the week,to justify the need for them, by claiming they were losing the battle with the yobs.
I am appalled, both at their actions and their rudeness. The parents should be making very strong complaints about this.
Fraser, it is bound to be the older, wiser heads, who are what you and I would think of as good coppers, that will take early retirement Just leaving the yobs to rule us with fist and boot!
Cato, ...and it was only yesterday we were lauding some of them, now we have to shoot them down in flames again...go figure (as they say across the pond)
Thanks for the heads up Indy. I was on my way to Spidey's next. It looks like your government has turned its citizens into the enemy as ours has.
Our government has been at that particular game for some considerable time, and both of our governments need taking down a peg or two. You over there seem to be a bit more likely to manage it in time than we are, good luck Odie!
Thanks, Indy, and as you say, the good cops, the older, wiser cops will probably be the first ones to get the push/early retirement, when the shite they should be getting rid of are the thick young twats who couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag - plus, of course, every single one of Blunkett's clueless, shit-stirring, plastic, fucking fake PCSOs!
You're welcome Spidey, yours was a good post and I just felt it needed a wider exposure, though I do not get many through here some may take notice!
Hopefully the pcso's will be the first to bite the dust, jumped up little hitlers!
