You read that headline correctly. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration is financing oil exploration off Brazil.
The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.
The U.S. Export-Import Bank tells us it has issued a "preliminary commitment" letter to Petrobras in the amount of $2 billion and has discussed with Brazil the possibility of increasing that amount. Ex-Im Bank says it has not decided whether the money will come in the form of a direct loan or loan guarantees. Either way, this corporate foreign aid may strike some readers as odd, given that the U.S. Treasury seems desperate for cash and Petrobras is one of the largest corporations in the Americas

This is the Gulf Stream, soon to be coloured BLACK with Oil!!
The other day I wrote on the BP Oil Spill reaching across the Atlantic via the Gulf Stream, I also suggested that there was more to this than met the eye, and that it could in some way be deliberate...
Well folks (no pun intended) I am not the only one who thinks that way...have a look below at the quote from a piece I found today...and as I said last time be worried, be very worried...and if as a blogger/blog reader you DO value the world we live in , then make this a priority in your itinerary, publish and cross post and stand up to tell the leaders of the world to stop apportioning blame and get together IMMEDIATELY and FIX this thing NOW!!!

Breaking News: Reports Say Huge Explosions Cause Seafloor Collapse Beneath Gulf Oil Spill (Update 9)
BP are hiding the full horror of the Gulf oil disaster. We have been treated to a live feed of the (supposedly) Main Gusher but it is not the only one there!
Is this a world extinction event is the question now being asked! It certainly looks like it may qualify for it especially as BP are now using Biological weapons to disperse the oil. In fact it looks like what Saddam failed to be able to deliver to America BP are doing it for him! over a MILLION gallons of neurotoxin thrown into the GULF, latest reports are of plant and crop damage from water evaporation containing the chemicals falling on the land.
Large scale evacuations of people from the area may be only a short time away!!
And remember folks this is THE Gulf that gives us the Gulf Stream...On a beach near you, how soon????

Childs Play...1970s vs.2000s
School in 1970s vs. School in 2000s
Scenario: Johnny and Mark get into a fight after school.
1974 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up best mates.
2009 - Police are called; Armed Response Unit arrives and arrest Johnny and Mark. Mobiles with video of fight confiscated as evidence. They are charged with assault, ASBOs are taken out and both are suspended even though Johnny started it. Diversionary conferences and parent meetings conducted. Video shown on YouTube.
Scenario: Jeffrey won't sit still in class, disrupts other students.
1974 - Jeffrey is sent to the principal's office and given 6 of the best. Returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again.
2009 - Jeffrey is given huge doses of Ritalin. Counselled to death. Becomes a zombie. Tested for ADD. School gets extra funding because Jeffrey has a disability. Drops out of school.
Scenario: Billy breaks a window in his neighbour's car and his Dad gives him the slipper.
1974 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college, and becomes a successful businessman.
2009 - Billy's dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster care and joins a gang. Psychologist tells Billy's sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy's mum has an affair with the psychologist. Psychologist gets a promotion.
Scenario: Mohammed fails high school English.
1974 - Mohammed retakes his exam, passes and goes to college..
2009 - Mohammed's cause is taken up by local human rights group. Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that making English a requirement for graduation is racist.. Civil Liberties Association files class action lawsuit against state school system and his English teacher. English is banned from core curriculum. Mohammed is given his qualification anyway but ends up mowing lawns for a living because he cannot speak English.
Scenario: Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers, puts them in a model plane and blows up an anthill.
1974 - Ants die.
2009 - MI5 and police are called and Johnny is charged with perpetrating acts of terrorism. Teams investigate parents, siblings are removed from the home, computers are confiscated, and Johnny's dad goes on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.
Scenario: Johnny falls during break and scrapes his knee. His teacher, Mary, finds him crying, and gives him a hug to comfort him.

The whole worlds going MAD!!
I have not been able to say anything over the last week my friends, I am so disgusted with the world and the people who inhabit it that words have just failed me!
Everywhere you look you see death and misery, from the middle east tothe gulf of mexico, I am tired of it all, all the lies and deceit all the rich getting richer on the backs of the mindless poor who swallow the stories of the captive media slavishly, never questioning, never doubting. If this is the pinnacle of human endeavours then I for one am ashamed to be called human..
Is this what the Mayan's knew would happen as the stars lined up once more, is the fluxation of the worlds magnetic fields causing fluxations in the minds of the people as well. Has it been a slowly cumulative process which will culminate in all out war and economic meltdown?
I despair for the people of this planet, what do they do to each other in this technologically advanced state they have achieved. Do they reach out their hands to help each other?...Do they cure the problems of world hunger and poverty?...Do they look with compassion on their fellow human beings?
No is the answer to all those questions, what they do is murder each other and fight over resources, withold simple drugs that could save millions of lives...
Israeli's take a leaf out of the Somalian pirate's book and commit an act of piracy on the high seas, the world in general deplores the action but does anybody do anything about it...no...it's just words from the mouths of politicians, the liars in charge of us all...have we the people learnt nothing in the last few decades since the WAR TO END ALL WARS!!!
Apparently not ..we did not learn to curb the excesses of our governments...we did not hold them to account for their lies and mismanagement...we did not insist that the vast bulk of humanity with nothing were fed watered and clothed..we did not seek to play fair with our less fortunate brethren...
I have never liked the attitude of the western world of always wanting more and not caring at what cost it was aquired... For as long as I can remember there have been warnings from people that could forsee the future our short sighted greed refused to admit to seeing...Rachel Carson in the fifties wrote Silent Spring, about the loss of our habitat filled with wildlife, and year on year the short sighted called for more hardwoods from the rainforest, more burgers from the Amazon, more amd more and more...
James Lovelock wrote of Gaia and the problems that were inherent in the systems we chose to support through our indolence and ignorance, these things they prophesied are now come to pass, the bee's are dying, and the plants will not be pollinated, slowly but surely the planet is dying...and only now do our governments talk...only talk mind you, of cutting emissions ,of recycling, of US the PEOPLE becoming responsible for the mess we are in...was it us the people who dropped Agent Orange across huge swathes of the Far East...was it US the PEOPLE who detonated Nuclear after Nuclear to demonstrate how powerful we were...
No my friends I do not think we will see them admit their folly, I do not think we will come to live in peace and prosperity with each other, I do not think that there is any hope that the collective madness can now be reversed, as WE the PEOPLE finally come to the realisation that WE the PEOPLE have had enough of the lies of the political elites who have driven us all down this road like sheep before the wolves!!
I am sorry my friends there are so many of you I wish I could have known and held in valued friendship, there are so many of you who have tried to do the right thing as far as you were able, but there were too many of those who did not care ,too many of those who promulgated violence on those who were different, lets face it my friends there were too many fascists, who just wanted their own way, for us ordinary PEOPLE to be able to live freely.
I will not mourn the passing of humanity, if that is what is to occur, there was too much wrong with us to make mourning worthwhile, but I will shed a tear for those of us who called for change when change would have done some good...
Roll on the day of reckoning, the signs and portents are all there, the very planet itself is rumbling and stirring, flexing its muscles to turn in its sleep and crush us, the people, as the insignificant fleas we really are...
